43 people die as building catches fire in Dhaka,

The multi-story building on Baily Road in the capital caught fire, resulting in at least 43 fatalities and 22 injuries. Given that some of the injured are in critical condition and that other victims might not be attended to on the scene, it is anticipated that the death toll will increase.

Around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, the seven-story building was the source of the fire. According to reports, 13 fire department units arrived on the scene quickly and were able to contain the fire by 11:50 p.m.

After removing the victims from the structure, they were taken to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery and the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

At around two in the morning, Health Minister Samanta Lal Sen informed the reporters that the incident had resulted in at least forty-three deaths, with the bodies being stored at the two hospitals. He was afraid that the death toll might not be all that high.

The health minister reported that of the injured, eight are being treated at the burn and plastic surgery institute and fourteen are at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Their health is seriously compromised.

A little over 30 minutes later, Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, the inspector general of police (IGP), visited the medical college hospital and informed the media that they had information of 44 deaths overall, one of which had occurred at the Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh.

The building has a clothes store and a few well-known restaurants, including Kacchi Bhai. In the evening, when people are hanging out at restaurants with their loved ones, it frequently sees a rush.

Locals claim that the fire started on the ground floor and eventually spread to the upper floors. After hours of frenetic work, about 13 firefighter units arrived on the scene and put out the fire. Cranes were used to remove dozens of people from the scene.

The director general of Fire Service and Civil Defense, Brigadier General Md Main Uddin, informed the media at 1:15 in the morning that all floors of the building are home to restaurants, with the exception of the third floor, which is home to a clothes store. Many of the restaurants' gas cylinders caught fire, quickly engulfing the structure in flames.

The facility included a huge number of gas cylinders, according to a member of the Fire Service. The cylinder explosions prevented the people from leaving the location.

Kamrul Hasan, additional superintendent of police of RAB-3, stated the fire started there because of a cylinder explosion in a ground floor coffee shop, citing the Fire Service and locals.

Ukraine must reduce its dependence on America and the West.

Poland and Germany declare they will not be deploying troops to Ukraine as the Kremlin threatens a larger conflict.

Heavyweights in the European military, Germany and Poland, declared on Tuesday that they would not be sending soldiers to Ukraine in response to rumors that other Western nations might be thinking of doing so as the conflict with Russia approaches its third year.

Following the confirmation by other leaders of central Europe that their countries will not be sending soldiers to Ukraine, the president of NATO also stated that the U.S.-led military alliance has no intentions to send troops there.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin issued a warning that if NATO deploys combat troops, there would inevitably be a direct confrontation between Russia and the alliance. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters, "In this case, we need to talk about the inevitability (of conflict), not about probability."

Moscow issued its warning the day after French President Emmanuel Macron, speaking at a conference attended by high-ranking representatives of more than 20 Western countries that support Ukraine, stated that the deployment of Western ground forces should not be "ruled out" in the future.

Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, seems to see the events in Paris differently. "There will be no ground troops, no soldiers on Ukrainian soil who are sent there by European states or NATO states," he said the participants had decided.

"Soldiers operating in our countries also are not actively participating in the war themselves," according to Scholz, there was also general agreement.

Following intense criticism from French opposition MPs over Macron's proposal that ground forces could be considered, the French president's administration attempted to elucidate his remarks on Tuesday as Macron appeared to be growing more and more alone.

At the summit, there was debate but no agreement, according to French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, on conducting military training and demining activities in Ukraine away from the front lines.

The minister clarified, "It's not sending troops to wage war against Russia."

It has been forbidden to send soldiers, especially as NATO tries to keep itself out of a larger conflict with Russia, which possesses nuclear weapons. There is nothing stopping any of the 31 NATO countries from participating individually or in groups in such an endeavor, but the alliance as a whole would only do so with their consent.

The Associated Press was informed by NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg that "NATO allies are providing unprecedented support to Ukraine." Since 2014, we have taken action in response to the full-scale invasion. However, there are no intentions to place combat forces from NATO in Ukraine.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared, "Poland does not plan to send its troops to Ukraine," during a meeting in Prague on Tuesday. The Czech Republic's prime minister, Petr Fiala, emphasized that his nation "certainly doesn't want to send its soldiers."

The prime minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, stated that while his government does not intend to suggest a deployment, several nations were considering making bilateral agreements to supply troops to assist Ukraine in repelling the Russian invasion.

Fico did not specify which nations will send soldiers to Ukraine or what their objectives would be there. Macron refrained from mentioning any nations as well, stating that he wished to preserve "strategic ambiguity" and prevent the West from siding with Russia.

NATO as an organization only offers non-lethal assistance and support to Ukraine, such as medical supplies, uniforms, and winter gear; nonetheless, certain countries unilaterally or jointly transfer arms and ammunition.

The kind of transportation and logistical capacity that only nations like the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and maybe Italy, Poland, or Spain could marshal would be necessary for the choice to send soldiers and keep them deployed for an extended period of time.

Stoltenberg told the AP that "this is a war of aggression by Russia against Ukraine, blatantly violating international law," even if he disapproved of NATO military action. Naturally, Ukraine has the right to self-defense under international law, and we have the right to assist them in defending that right.

As the Ukrainian government tries to bolster support from the West, the summit in Paris took place just after bilateral security deals worth ten years were inked by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

European countries fear that if Congress continues to block help to Ukraine, the United States may withdraw its support. Additionally, they fear that Donald Trump, the former president, may retake office and alter American policy on the continent.

According to those present at the meeting, a number of European nations, notably France, announced their support on Monday for the Czech Republic's request to purchase ammunition shells for Ukraine outside of the EU. According to Macron, a brand-new alliance will be formed to supply medium- and long-range missiles.

During a recent interview, Stoltenberg has no objection to Ukraine using Western weapons to attack Russian targets. Some nations have imposed limitations on the usage of the equipment they donate, requesting that it only be utilized within Ukraine.

"It is up to each and every ally to determine whether their delivery is subject to any limitations," Stoltenberg stated in an interview with Radio Free Europe. However, he added, "hitting legitimate military targets, Russian military targets, outside Ukraine, is also part of Ukraine's right to self-defense."

Do you think that depending on America and the West, Ukraine can survive the fight with Russia ?

Germany's Scholz explains why he is reluctant to provide Ukraine with Taurus long-range missiles.

BERLIN (AP) — Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, stated on Monday that he is still hesitant to deliver Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine due to the possibility of his nation getting embroiled in the conflict.

Germany is increasing its military assistance to Ukraine this year, making it the second-largest donor after the US. However, Scholz has been holding up Ukraine's request for Taurus missiles for months. These missiles have a maximum range of 500 kilometers (310 miles) and could theoretically be used to strike targets that are located far within Russian territory.

The German Chancellor has consistently stated that no German soldiers will be sent to Ukraine and that he is committed to supporting Ukraine without intensifying the conflict and involving Germany and NATO.

He hasn't said with certainty that they won't be delivered, but at an editorial conference of German news agency dpa, he provided the most lucid explanation of his reluctance to date, which has irritated both the conservative opposition in Germany and certain members of his own three-party coalition.

Long ago, it was announced that Britain and France were deploying long-range missiles to Ukraine, named Storm Shadow and Scalp, respectively.

The Taurus is "a very far-reaching weapon," according to Scholz, who also stated on Monday that Germany is unable to replicate the British and French approaches to target control and supporting target management. That is evident to everyone who has worked with this system.

Scholz responded, "German soldiers must at no point and in no place be linked to targets this (Taurus) system reaches," and he added, "not in Germany either," when asked if he was concerned that his troops would have to travel to Ukraine in order to manage what the missiles target.

According to him, there are valid reasons why the missiles are not the next course of action. "It is imperative to have this clarity. It surprises me that some individuals are unmoved by this and don't even consider the possibility that our actions could essentially amount to war participation.

According to Scholz, the German discussion on Taurus missiles has obscured what Ukraine urgently needs. "Ammunition at all possible distances is what Ukraine is missing, but not decisively this thing from Germany," he stated.

German legislators last week urged the government to deploy more long-range weapons to Ukraine, but they rejected a proposal from the opposition to specifically supply Taurus long-range cruise missiles.

According to a motion drafted by the ruling parties, in order to enable attacks on "strategically important targets far in the rear of the Russian aggressor," the government must continue providing military support. "This includes the delivery of further necessary long-range weapons systems and ammunition."

Because of that vague wording, politicians in the government were able to support the deployment of Taurus missiles or not.

Russia is advancing in Ukraine. Europe should be careful. Because America will never protect Europe .

Russia is attempting a key military aim by launching its first coherent offensive in months. Analysts say that this could be Vladimir Putin's way of achieving one of his main goals. This is Russia's first cohesive offensive in over a year and a half.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, its forces are launching coordinated attacks along four front axes in the Kharkiv-Luhansk front in an effort to drive Ukraine out of the Luhansk region completely.

However, the US-based thinktank stated that success will only come at "a very high cost" and necessitate months of mediocre tactical advancements.

According to the ISW, the offensives imply that Russian forces are "undertaking a larger, months-long cohesive operational effort to seize the east bank of the Oskil River from Kupyansk to Oskil City".

Russia might build on its achievements with such an operation, since there would be "little risk of serious Ukrainian counterattacks" due to a large water impediment.

Even slight operational advances could be twisted by Mr. Putin's campaign in the elections that take place next month.

According to the ISW, offensive activities were occurring in the four regions listed below.

  1. Northeast of Kupyansk
  2. Northwest of Svatove
  3. Southwest of Svatove
  4. West of Kreminna

Kupyansk

The east bank of Kupyansk City is being advanced upon by the sixth Combined Arms Army.

In an effort to cut off Ukrainian defenses, the air force has attacked bridges.

In December, Russian forces apparently lost a considerable number of armored vehicles, but they have since increased their attacks and gained tactical victories in Synkivka, a settlement northeast of Kupyansk.

Svatove

Attacks northwest of the city of Svatove have been stepped up by the First Guards Tank Army, which has apparently taken two villages.

Additionally, according to Russian reports, they are launching a "massive offensive" toward Tabaivka and Krokhmalne, penetrating the settlements just to the north of the city.

Russian soldiers are conducting a less aggressive offensive southwest of Svatove, with the ultimate objective of moving on Borova settlement.

Kreminna

Russian forces are said to have made very slight progress in a "large number of assaults" west of Kreminna, using a "significant" number of tanks and armored vehicles.

The most likely operational goal is to retake Lyman since doing so would create access to Oskil City.

Opinion- Should Europe form an alternative alliance to NATO after Mr. Trump's comments ?

If Trump wins the US presidential election, the EU is considering developing a NATO substitute,

according to The Washington Post.

"These conversations began after Trump’s words about encouraging attacks on alliance countries if they do not fulfill their financial obligations."

Sen. J.D. Vance (R), a US senator from Ohio, made the suggestion at the Munich Security Conference that the upcoming US government could collaborate with Russian President Vladimir Putin and withdraw from Europe.

With the biggest land conflict in Europe since World conflict II raging, Trump's remarks about NATO and his flirtations with Russia now seem more like an invitation to invade than a warning. Europe is furious and alarmed, but they are unsure of what to do next.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss delicate conversations between allies, one European security official said, "We have to rethink what U.S. commitment towards Europe and Ukraine could look like when the former and possibly future leader of the free world says that he would sit back and see how Russia would attack NATO allies."

Following Trump's statements, European officials have been in private talks about developing a continental supplement to NATO that would operate in tandem with US security guarantees but could also be a reliable stand-in should the US withhold its commitments.

Currently, the discussions are entangled in well-known disagreements. Germany and France cannot agree on who would pay for it. The resolve of Western Europe to counter Russian threats is not entirely trusted by Eastern Europe. Furthermore, it's unclear how they would construct a nuclear shield across the continent; even if they succeeded, their arsenal would be significantly smaller than Russia's in the worst-case scenario of nuclear conflict.

BREAKING- Russia has completely disabled the coke plant in the Ukrainian city of Abhdyka.

The Avdiivka Coke Plant is ruined

People's Deputy of Ukraine, General Director of the Avdiyiv Coke Chemical Plant from 2012 to 2019, Musa Magomedov, spoke about the Coke plant.

"The Avdiiv Coke Plant was the largest plant in Europe. More than 5,000 workers, 8 coke batteries - all this can no longer work. This is all gone, it is impossible to restore it", said the Former General Directo.

Finally, America and the West, cowed by the dictator Putin, were once again shamelessly defeated on the soil of Ukraine.

Russia fully takes over the Avdiivka Coke Plant, according to the Defense Ministry.

After months of conflict, Ukrainian forces leave the strategically important eastern town of Avdiivka.

The Ukrainian military has declared that it is pulling out of Avdiivka, a strategically important town that has recently seen one of the most hotly fought engagements on the eastern front.

The action came after Moscow escalated its bombardment of the region, launching wave after wave of ground assaults by infantry and armored vehicles in addition to heavy artillery and airstrikes.

Although the town has little strategic value, Avdiivka represents Moscow's largest victory since taking Bakhmut last year and shows how the war seems to be going more in Russian President Vladimir Putin's favor.

In the meantime, shortages of both people and ammunition are adding to the pressure that Ukraine is under once again on the eastern front.

The decision to withdraw from Avdiivka was decided in order to "save our soldiers' lives," according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who was speaking on Saturday at the Munich Security Conference.

It was decided to withdraw to other lines so as not to get surrounded. This does not imply that people withdrew a few kilometers and that Russia gained anything; on the contrary, he continued.

The Russian Ministry of Defense released a statement on Saturday stating that Sergei Shoigu, the minister of defense, had declared the city to be fully under Russian control.

According to the ministry statement and state-run media RIA Novosti, Shoigu notified Putin, who congratulated Russian Colonel-General Andrei Mordvichev, commander of the "Center" group of forces, on seizing control of the city.

Since 2014, when Russian-backed rebels captured much of the Donbas region, including the neighboring city of Donetsk, Avdiivka has been at the forefront of the conflict. Since Russia began its full-scale invasion in February 2022, it has come under attack.

Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of Ukraine's southern forces, stated in a Telegram post on Friday that withdrawing from the town, which is northwest of Donetsk city, was "the only correct solution," adding that several Ukrainian troops had been taken by Russia during the process.

"This is the only correct solution in a situation where the enemy is advancing on the corpses of their own soldiers, under constant bombardment, with a ten-to-one shell advantage." the commander stated. Tarnavskyi continued, "Russian troops are numerically superior in terms of personnel, artillery, and aviation."

He claimed that within the previous 24 hours, Moscow's forces had launched 20 airstrikes and more than 150 artillery attacks in the region, and that the Russians were "practically erasing the city from the face of the earth."

The choice was made shortly after Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine's new military chief, and Rustem Umerov, the country's defense minister, visited the front lines in Avdiivka and promised to deploy troops in order to "prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into our territory."

But by Thursday, the enemy was "coming from all sides" and the situation in the town was described as "hellish" by the Ukrainian forces fighting to retain it.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Syrskyi stated that he was relocating soldiers to protect "more favorable lines" and that he had ordered the pullback "to avoid encirclement and preserve the lives and health of servicemen."

"Everything possible to destroy the best Russian military units and inflict significant losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment," he said of the Ukrainian soldiers.

The speaker stated that Ukraine was "taking measures to stabilize the situation and maintain positions," emphasizing the importance of military personnel's lives.

The 3rd Assault Brigade commander, who led one of the most combat-tested groups in Ukraine ordered to defend Avdiivka, stated that the withdrawal allowed Ukrainian forces to "come back and strike even harder."

"I express my gratitude to the command for their thoughtful decision," Andrii Biletsky wrote on Saturday on Telegram. "I express my gratitude to the soldiers for their valiant resistance against the adversary in Avdiivka, despite the Russians' overwhelming numerical advantage in terms of manpower, equipment, and shells," he continued.

Moscow seems to have determined that, given its numerical advantage, these casualties were worthwhile despite the fact that Russia has also sustained enormous losses in its advance on Avdiivka.
An emblem of Ukraine's hardships

Without a doubt, Avdiivka's departure is a blow to Ukraine.

Months after it was launched, a counteroffensive that sought to retake significant territory has failed, and the nation is beginning to see that its previously resolute support from the West is eroding, especially from the US, its main partner.

Furthermore, turning the war back to Russia will be extremely difficult for Syrskyi, Ukraine's new army chief, given that his country is trailing behind in other areas of the front.

In October, Moscow's forces launched an operation in the vicinity of Avdiivka. Since then, waves of men and armored vehicles have been pressuring it, turning it into a site of intense warfare under constant Russian shelling.

Russia had been focusing its efforts on taking up the surrounding districts and encircling Avdiivka.

Serhii Tsekhotskyi, an officer in Ukraine, recently revealed to Ukrainian media that Russia is sending out a sizable military force to fight for Avdiivka. He insisted, many were being slain.

He declared, "They do not spare their people."

The Russian attack was reminiscent of the "meat-grinder" methods employed to take Bakhmut last year; according to a NATO source, Russia lost five soldiers for every Ukrainian soldier killed defending Bakhmut.

However, Ukrainian forces that were deeply rooted in the region had halted Moscow's advances in Avdiivka.

CNN published a story in November on how Oleh Sentsov, a former well-known filmmaker from Ukraine, used helmet and body cameras to record a 5-hour combat in Avdiivka to show the horrors of the trenches and the brutality of war. He and his men were engaged in combat from all sides as Russian forces used a pincer movement against them.

"Our attack team was required to hold a 150-meter-wide trench. In a rare interview with CNN, Sentsov stated, "We went in, took 50 meters, and could not push further because there was strong resistance by a lot of enemy infantry there."

In December, Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, referred to the fighting in the city as a "onslaught" and stated that it may "determine the overall course of the war" in numerous ways.

Pressure across the front

Following the town's capture, Ukraine has been alerted to the possibility of a fresh Russian onslaught along most of the front line, with intense fighting occurring in the northeast near the boundary between the regions of Kharkiv and Luhansk.

Moscow's forces have not made any significant progress there, but Ukraine has been obliged to cede several areas of land that it had successfully retaken in the late summer of 2022.

The new round of Russian offensives coincides with reports from Ukraine that it is severely short on ammunition, which is vital for its combat forces.

President Joe Biden's national security adviser warned late last year that "we are running out of money, and we are nearly out of time," sparking growing concerns that Ukraine's US lifeline is dangling by a thread.

In their conversation on Saturday, Biden made a clear connection between the US Congress's failure to approve more military aid for Ukraine and the Ukrainian pullout from Avdiivka.

"Russia made its first significant gains in months this morning when the Ukrainian military was forced to evacuate Avdiivka due to decreasing munitions supplies brought on by congressional inactivity. A White House readout of the call stated that President Biden stressed the necessity for Congress to swiftly approve the national security supplemental budget package in order to resupply Ukrainian soldiers.

On February 7, in the face of a barrage of criticism from prominent House Republicans and former President Donald Trump, Senate Republicans vetoed a significant bipartisan border agreement and foreign aid package that included cash for Israel and Ukraine. The White House is trying again to get Congress to approve military assistance for Ukraine, but it is not at all apparent that House Republicans would back it.

Since the Hamas attack on Israel last year and the escalating crisis in the Middle East, there have been worries that Ukraine is falling further down the West's priority.

Zelensky, meantime, announced early in February that General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the head of Ukraine's armed forces, had been fired. This was the largest military change since Russia began its full-scale invasion over two years prior.

Putin has even greater motivation to win in Ukraine because of an upcoming election in Russia the following month. The head of the Kremlin is anticipated to win the election and serve as president until 2030. He is seeking a fifth term.

As they look farther forward to 2024, NATO allies worry that Putin would undertake a more extensive onslaught after winning what are regarded as a formality in the eyes of global observers—his country's March presidential elections.

We will be updating this story as it develops.

New york cities are being terrorized by migrant gangs, and Democrats who are mild on crime are encouraging the chaos.

These cities are being terrorized by migrant gangs, and Democrats who are mild on crime are encouraging the chaos.

The notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is relocating to New York City and torturing its victims.

Crimes masquerading as refugees are transforming American cities into battlefields.

According to police sources, the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, known for torturing its victims, is relocating to New York City.

Gang members enlist immigrants from shelters and buses carrying them from Texas, where they operate in retail theft rings or on mopeds, robbing pedestrians of their phones and handbags.

This is criminal organization. Paul DiGiacomo, head of the NYC Detectives' Endowment Association, compares it to the Mafia.

FBI FEARS VENEZUELA MIGRANT GANG MEMBERS COULD POTENTIALLY TEAM UP WITH MS-13 KILLERS.

Commissioner of the NYPD Edward Caban issues a warning about a "wave of migrant crime." Democratic lawmakers contest it. Governor Kathy Hochul of New York claims that immigrants "are looking for a better life." Mostly true, but not always.

Caban is accused by NYC Comptroller Brad Lander of "fear mongering" and of exploiting a "Republican talking point."

Trust the police, not the politicians.

Harming the Big Apple, Yonkers, and New Jersey are migrant groups involved in retail crime rings and moped gangs, some of whom are armed.

Teams of two people steal cell phones from pedestrians and bring them to Tren de Aragua stash homes, where skilled hackers conduct fraudulent bank transactions and siphon off funds from all accounts. After that, the phones are cleaned and sent to South America to be sold again.
Harming the Big Apple, Yonkers, and New Jersey are migrant groups involved in retail crime rings and moped gangs, some of whom are armed.

One of these moped thieves carried a 62-year-old woman along a Brooklyn street, savagely dragging her, and stole her pocketbook. It's typically necessary to move away from the curb and give a hug to the building when you see mopeds; this is not New York.

On February 8, a baby-faced 15-year-old immigrant named Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa shot a customer in the leg at JD Sports in Times Square as the security guard attempted to stop him from robbing the store. Figueroa fired shots into the throng while brandishing a.45 caliber weapon. Police have already taken him into custody.

Finding the ringleaders who armed him and sent him into the store is the next task.

The teenager had been attending school and lived with his mother in the Stratford Hotel, a city shelter. He is also a suspect in two other incidents: a robbery in the Bronx on January 27 and an incident in Midtown on January 25. Figueroa ought to have been evicted and the shelter system informed following his initial run-in with the law.

Chicago is experiencing horror as well. Professional criminals there recruit refugees from the shelters to rob upscale retailers at the suburban Oakbrook Center mall, located 20 miles west of the city center. Without the criminal masterminds, these migrants wouldn't know the location of Oak Brook, a posh area, or how to get there.

According to retired Riverside, Illinois, Police Chief Tom Weitzel, South American gangs are converting suburban malls into dangerous places. In an interview with Fox News, he stated, "You're at one of the suburban malls... pushing your kids in a stroller" and you could become a victim of the violence.

"A lot more crossing the border are criminals or have criminal intent than is being publicly said," Weitzel stated.

Paul Mauro, a former NYPD inspector, concurs. In an independent interview with Fox News, he claimed that the assertion that Venezuela is freeing its prisoners is true.

Not only are Democrats in New York and Illinois soft on crime, but President Biden's open borders are also to blame, as their policies virtually ensure that migratory criminals may commit robberies and assaults without ever facing jail time.

By promising asylum seekers financial welfare benefits—something the federal government forbids, meaning state and local taxpayers must pay the full cost—Hochel sweetens the pot.

Furthermore, Mayor Eric Adams ought to work to reverse the judicial injunction that requires New York City to provide shelter to everyone. The majority of "the network of thieves" resides in the shelter system, according to NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny's observations.

This includes the immigrants who, on January 27, beat up two police officers in Times Square. Despite a history of arrests, they continued to reside in shelters thanks to the support of New York taxpayers.
Adams is enforcing a curfew at some shelters until 11 p.m. That's just decorative glass.
It makes no sense to give lodging and board to the same individuals who rob and threaten us. When migrants are in legal difficulties, they should be expelled from the shelter system and informed. Rikers is the only place they should be receiving shelter.

It says on the Statue of Liberty, "Give me your tired, your poor." It says nothing about your gang bosses, brutes, and lawbreakers.

Should Israel follow Russia's strategy ?

Russians capture the city of Avdiivka in a "significant" victory over Ukraine.

Dictator Putin is taking over one Ukrainian city after another. The question is why the world is silent against the dictator Putin? The world is as vocal against Israel as it is silent against Russia. Because Russia repeatedly threatens nuclear bomb attacks? Do you think Israel should follow Russia strategy? Because Israel also has nuclear bombs. We are all silent against Russia for fear of nuclear bombing.

Vladimir Putin praised the soldiers, while Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, used a security conference in Germany to beg for additional armaments from the West.

After months of fierce battle, Russian forces have taken total control of the Ukrainian city of Avdiivka, according to the defense ministry.
Only a few days short from the second anniversary of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin congratulated the forces on the development, calling it a "success" and "important victory". ‍

The Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, told the Kremlin that forces were trying to eliminate the last pockets of opposition on the same day as the head of Ukraine's military announced he was pulling out more troops from the city.
It happens as Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, begs the West to provide more military aid and implies that a shortage of weapons contributed to the departure.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he declared, "Now, [the military] will replenish, they will wait for the relevant weapons, of which there simply weren't, simply aren't enough."

"Russia has long-range weapons, while we simply don't have enough."
Later, he expressed optimism that the US Congress will make a "wise decision" and approve the package resupplying Ukrainian soldiers, even if the Republicans have been fiercely opposing it.

"We hope that the House of Representatives will make decisions to ensure further necessary US support for Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote on X.

The White House said that "dwindling supplies as a result of congressional inaction" were to blame for the withdrawal from Avdiivka, which led to "Russia's first notable gains in months" and prompted Ukrainian military to ration munitions.

Subsequently, during a phone conversation with Mr. Zelenskyy, Mr. Biden reaffirmed US support for Ukraine.

Russia has advanced farther since capturing Bakhmut in May, and the capture of the southern city may be crucial in helping Russia get one step closer to gaining total control of the two provinces that make up the industrial Donbas region.
Promotion
"We must win this war."

Mr. Putin honored the servicemen who had lost their lives in the campaign by sending out a telegram that read, "Eternal glory to the heroes who fell in fulfilling the tasks of the special military operation!"

Russia dropped sixty bombs per day.

Since October of last year, Russian soldiers have been attempting to encircle the town and have hindered the Ukrainian troops' ability to resupply because of their three-sided perimeter.

Deputy commander of the Third Assault Brigade Rodion Kudriashov provided an update on the situation on the ground in recent days, stating that Russian jets had been dropping roughly sixty bombs per day, bombarding the area nonstop, and launching infantry and armored assaults.

The city is situated north of Donetsk and was formerly home to about 30,000 people. As of right now, its population is estimated to be slightly over 1,000.

It was the location of a major industrial complex that produced chemicals and coke, a fuel derived from coal. However, according to its owners, the plant was mostly destroyed in the battle.

The Russian conquest hasn't been easy, as evidenced by film that seems to show the dead of 150 soldiers—the most of whom were dressed in Russian uniforms—scattered along tree lines where they took cover.

Ukraine withdraws from Avdiivka, Putin hails 'important victory'

1, Ukraine compelled to retreat from Avdiivka's eastern bastion

2. Russia claims that there is a severe lack of artillery rounds for Ukrainian forces stationed near the           Avdiivka coke plant in Kiev.

3.The White House accuses Congress of being inactive.

4. Biden phones Zelenskiy to reaffirm US support

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, referred to the takeover of Avdiivka as "an important victory" after the military leader of Ukraine said on Saturday that his men had left the badly damaged town in the east of the nation following months of fierce fighting.
The Russian defense ministry claimed that Ukrainian forces remained firmly established at the town's coke plant, but the push on Avdiivka represented Moscow's largest since it captured Bakhmut in May.
Days before the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, fresh U.S. military aid had been delayed for months by Congress, and the country was suffering from severe ammunition shortages.

Additionally, it is the most obvious indication yet that Moscow is now winning the fight after a counteroffensive by the Ukrainians last year failed to breach Russian defenses.

The Kremlin sent a statement on its website stating, "The head of state congratulated Russian soldiers on this success, an important victory."
Following months of Republican legislative resistance to a new U.S. military aid package for Kyiv, U.S. President Joe Biden issued a warning this week that Avdiivka could fall to Russian forces due to ammunition shortages.

According to a statement released by the White House on Saturday, Biden spoke with Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the president of Ukraine, over the phone to reaffirm America's commitment to helping the country and to stress the urgency with which Congress must approve the package necessary to resupply Ukrainian forces.

The pullout was compelled, according to the White House, "by dwindling supplies as a result of congressional inaction," which led to the forces in Ukraine having to ration ammunition and "Russia's first notable gains in months."

Russia's morale is expected to be boosted by the capture of the city ahead of Putin's practically guaranteed reelection run next month.
Additionally, it is viewed as a further move to strengthen Moscow's control over the Donetsk regional center, which is around 20 kilometers (12 miles) to the east and has been occupied by Russian and pro-Russian soldiers since 2014.
Russia has not disclosed the precise amount of casualties it has suffered in the fierce combat, but Ukrainian authorities and military experts from the West claim that Russia's advances have cost an incredible amount of lives and armored vehicles.

Putin's message, which said, "Eternal glory to the heroes who fell in fulfilling the tasks of the special military operation!" paid respect to the servicemen who had lost their lives in the campaign.
Additionally, it appears that Russia still does not fully control the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical facility, which is located on the town's northwest side. Once the biggest producer of coke in Ukraine prior to the conflict, this now-ruined city served as the final bastion for the Avdiivka.
In a video posted on the ministry's Telegram channel, Russian Defence Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov stated, "Measures are being taken to completely clear the city of militants and to block Ukrainian units that have left the city and are entrenched at the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant."

ZELENSKIY IMPLORES WEST FOR SUPPLIES

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Zelenskiy urged his Western partners to increase military aid supplies and implied that a shortage of weapons contributed to the withdrawal of Russian soldiers from Avdiivka. He also commended his troops for "exhausting" Russian forces there.
"Now, (the military) will replenish, they will wait for the relevant weapons, of which there simply weren't enough, simply aren't enough," he stated. "Russia has long-range weapons, while we simply don't have enough."
Zelenskiy wrote on X that he hoped the US Congress would make a "wise decision."

Regarding his conversation with Biden, he remarked, "We discussed the current frontline situation." "I am grateful to have President Biden's full support."
According to Zelenskiy, he held a meeting with a group of Republican and Democratic members of the US House of Representatives in Munich.
"We hope that the House of Representatives will make decisions to ensure further necessary U.S. support for Ukraine," he stated. "We must win this war."
Avdiivka demonstrated the necessity for contemporary air defense systems to fend off guided bombs and long-range missiles intended to destroy enemy formations, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. Artillery shells, he continued, were also required.
The town had a pre-war population of 32,000. Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, who assumed command of the Ukrainian military in a significant shake-up last week, stated that Ukrainian forces had retreated to more secure positions outside the town "to avoid encirclement and preserve the lives and health of servicemen."

The 3rd Assault Brigade of Ukraine, which authorities claim was sent to Avdiivka this week, claimed on Telegram to have leveled out the front line and retreated to positions it had previously established on the city's outskirts.

"The Russians are not abating their attack at this time. We continue to maintain the line around Avdiivka," it stated.
Since October, Avdiivka has been under to increasing Russian offensive pressure in the east, while the exhaustion of Ukrainian troops engaged in combat since early 2022 has been exacerbated by sporadic military assistance from the West.
For weeks, Ukraine's circumstances appeared precarious.
This week, while other Ukrainian forces withdrew from the town's southeast, the Third Assault Brigade—a well-known infantry assault unit—was dispatched to assist in re-establishing soldiers in the area.

Breaking news-The mayor of NYC rescinds his plan to lodge migrants in a luxury skyscraper in response to community backlash.

Originally marketed as opulent residential property featuring a swimming pool, the structure was anticipated to be transformed into a transitory haven for undocumented immigrants.

Following opposition from the Harlem community, New York City Mayor Eric Adams withdrew plans to repurpose an abandoned luxury apartment building into a shelter for undocumented immigrants.

According to CBS News, Adams unexpectedly showed up at a community meeting in the Upper Manhattan area on Thursday. The attendees were there to talk about claims that the building located at the intersection of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. and 130th Street was being secretly prepared for immigration.

The building's developers defaulted on financing, so although it was initially marketed as opulent residential space with a swimming pool, it has remained vacant for almost ten years, according to the publication. According to city records, it comprises 35 units and was constructed in 2007.

NYC MAYOR ERIC ADAMS BEGS STATE TO COVER 50% OF CITY'S MIGRANT CRISIS COSTS

According to the New York Post, it was then leased to a nonprofit organization that had been collaborating with the city's Department of Social Services/Homeless Services to use it as a refuge for either immigrants or the native homeless population of the city.

Bunk bed cartons were seen being transported into the building by nearby residents. They called a meeting as a result of not receiving any response. They expressed their ire at being kept in the dark and the lack of communication.

"As we have people here who need the space, I don't agree with it becoming a sanctuary for asylum seekers," stated Tiffany Fulton, executive director of a nearby group that supports underprivileged areas.

According to the 2020 census, Central Harlem is a generally low-income neighborhood with a 28.4% poverty rate compared to 18.0% citywide. Approximately 44% of the neighborhood's people are Black.

"Millions on migrants, what about youth programs?" read one sign at the conference. According to Adams, the city may lose up to $12 billion as a result of the illegal immigration issue by 2025. Since the spring of 2022, at least 170,000 illegal immigrants have entered New York.

Adams showed up for the gathering and accepted questions from the locals.

"You hold the position of mayor. One resident of Harlem remarked, "We don't want to hear excuses."

However, the mayor declared that local homeless New Yorkers will be housed in the building instead of illegal immigration.

"I told the team, 'Find out what's going on here,'" said Adams. "When there are ongoing needs in a community, we're not relocating people into a brand-new structure. It is not going to occur.

"You will not have migrants and asylum seekers in that property."

A request for comment on the subject from Fox News Digital was not answered by the mayor's office.

Regina Smith, a resident of Harlem, told CBS that the area felt disregarded and that there were already too many homeless shelters in the area.

"We're being priced out of the community," she stated.

Leslie Johnson, a resident, asserted that affordable housing need to be utilized in place of the flats.

Johnson said to CBS, "We could go into these apartments."

Opinion Analysist- If the fall of Ukraine, how will the geopolitical impact ?

Impact of the Fall of Ukraine on Geopolitics:

1. Russian Influence Has Increased

Russia would seize substantial authority over a crucial Eastern European nation.
This would increase Russia's influence in the region and give it more confidence to challenge other former Soviet states for supremacy.

2. Weakening EU and NATO:

Plans for NATO and EU growth in the area would be jeopardized by the fall of Ukraine.
It might establish a buffer zone that would keep the West and Russia from having as much influence in Eastern Europe.

3. Instability by Region:

Tensions and hostilities with Poland, Romania, and Moldova, among other nearby nations, may arise from the collapse of the Ukrainian state.
This can cause instability in the area and possibly spark other wars.

4. Security of Energy:

Russia's gas pipelines to Europe pass through the Ukraine.
Russia might have more influence over European energy supply if it controls Ukraine, which might result in disruptions or higher prices.
5. International Security:

The global rules-based system may be threatened by the fall of Ukraine and give rise to other authoritarian governments.
Additionally, it might raise hostilities between the West and Russia, which might spark a new Cold War or perhaps a war.

6. Economic Effect:

Trade and commercial relations in the area would be disrupted by the collapse of Ukraine.
It might also result in a decline in trust in the financial system and the world economy.

7. The Humanitarian Emergency:

Millions of people would be displaced and in need of aid if Russia invaded Ukraine, causing a serious humanitarian crisis.

International relief agencies and nearby nations may be strained as a result.
All things considered, the collapse of Ukraine would have profound geopolitical ramifications, possibly altering the security environment in Europe and beyond.

Anylysist -Fall of the City Avdivka 😭😭😭

       AVDIVKA COMPLETE WITHDRAWAL.

With success, Ukraine has been able to remove its men from the Avdivka quagmire and relocate to positions outside of the city. The ruins of the town are now under Russian control.
About fifty thousand soldiers lose their lives as a result of Russian imperialism's destructive hand destroying something positive in the globe once more. They won't be recalled. They will not be thanked by anyone. They did not request to be killed there, at the altar of Putin's delusions.
It's not a good day. And Donald Trump and the Republicans share a great deal of the blame. This would not have happened if America had helped. But American voters are beginning to realize the reality, and in November, he will not win.

Help will arrive soon, and efforts are being made to press the issue; in fact, Speaker Johnson, a Russian golem, has called a two-week break to avoid a vote.
Without a doubt, this is closely related to Avdivka's downfall as well as that of Donald Trump and his allies, who are merely motivated by their own ambitions for power. They refused to allow the aid in October and have continued to do so ever since, even if it means sacrificing the border security they claim they so desperately need because Trump intends to use it as a platform for his campaign.

During these fights, ammunition shortages were crucial; these shortages would not have occurred in the absence of the promised aid package.
Let this serve as a helpful reminder to all of Europe. The last time we let go of anything due to material shortcomings was with Avdivka. I am aware that producing on the required scale requires time, but we are not progressing quickly enough.

President Zelensky inked a security and defense agreement with Germany yesterday; France will follow. Europe is gradually coming to its senses. More work than ever is being done behind the scenes. Some of us are making every effort to bring disparate industrial perspectives together, organize meetings, inform them of the importance of the issue, and connect the many diverse sectors and individuals that must collaborate. Since a large number of individuals just fail to understand what is going on and why it matters, this is one of the main issues. In hard economic circumstances, they are too preoccupied with their own issues.

It matters that you are reading this. It matters that you support us. The more you clarify to your loved ones, coworkers, and anybody else who will listen, the more likely it is that our way of life will be saved from extinction. Because Ukraine is helping us in that way.

Breaking News - Illegal immigrant arrested for child molestation !

After being detained and released, an illegal immigrant was arrested in Rhode Island for child molestation: ICE

Immigration authorities said on Friday that a Guatemalan man who was living in the country illegally was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of child molestation after being freed from custody last year.

Removal authorities from U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement detained the unidentified guy on February 6. According to ICE, he is accused of sex crimes in Providence, Rhode Island.

"This Guatemalan national has broken American immigration laws and is accused of heinous crimes against a child in Rhode Island," stated Todd M. Lyons, the head of Enforcement Removal Operations' Boston field office. "We will continue to apprehend and remove egregious offenders who prey on the most vulnerable in our society."

Immigration officials are unaware of the suspect's date of entry into the country. In March 2023, he was taken into custody in Providence and accused of child molestation.

He was being held at the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston, Rhode Island, when immigration authorities filed a detainer request for him. He was sent released in April 2023, according to authorities, after his plea to alert immigration authorities to his impending release from the prison was denied.

His case for child molestation is still open.

Because of so-called "sanctuary city" regulations that prohibit local officials from collaborating with immigration authorities, numerous jurisdictions nationwide routinely disregard detainer requests from ICE.

According to ICE, these rules endanger the public by allowing dangerous felons to return to society.

Analysist -IN SPACE NUCLEAR WEAPONS ?

 IN SPACE NUCLEAR WEAPONS?

IN SPACE NUCLEAR WEAPONS ?

The US experienced a deluge of intelligence assessments this week. The head of the House Intelligence Committee asked that the Administration make public intelligence that he had received in confidence about a possibly revolutionary Russian weapon that should seriously jeopardize the security of the United States and its allies.
To be precise, no one has stated what it is. Nonetheless, the general consensus is that the Russians either launched a nuclear bomb into orbit or used another type of satellite intended to launch a first attack that would destroy many satellites in one go.

Space travel has long been prohibited by nuclear weapons.
The US detonated a 1.45 megaton bomb 280 kilometers into space back in 1962.
Eight of the twenty-two satellites in orbit were destroyed by radiation and magnetic pulses; one of them was an early British Television satellite that the company was not amused about losing as it sent signals across the Atlantic. Most of the Pacific Ocean lost radio service, and several areas lost electricity, including most of Japan.

Over the years, the realization of the enormity of their actions has reverberated. Considering that there are currently tens of thousands of satellites in orbit, our technological civilization finds this to be a laughable notion.
The timing of this warning coincides with the successful deployment by the US this week of a number of new generation satellites intended to detect shorter range ballistic missiles, aero ballistic missiles, and hypersonic missiles in addition to the more conventional IRBM/SLBM/ICBM varieties.

Although Russian space power has significantly decreased, they worked very hard to sustain this most recent launch. They have been purposefully blocking transmissions and capturing others for years now using maneuvering SIGINT satellites, with the Italian military communications satellite being a particularly well-liked target.
When Ronald Reagan first revealed the "Star Wars" program in the 1980s, it was widely believed that he had gone insane and that the program was a hoax. The plan involved developing anti-missile satellites equipped with lasers and kinetic rail guns, as well as ground-launched interceptor weapons and particle cannons.

He appears to be a visionary now. Laser weapons are starting to arrive and will be able to be used in ten years. To be honest, the development of anti-missile systems with ever superior capabilities and frequently surprising dependability may be attributed to his groundbreaking study conducted forty years ago. The Soviets were horrified by the possibility that the US may use these weapons; they knew they had no chance of ever using them. In fact, in Iceland, a consensus was achieved in 1986 to eliminate all nuclear weapons. However, Gorbachev asked that Star Wars be dropped from the agreement, something Reagan would never accept.

Forty years later, the US, China, India, and Russia have all tested ASAT missiles; multiple of them caused havoc with debris in an area as packed as space.
It is known that there exist maneuvering satellites with various functions. It is thought that Russia possesses deployable mini-satellites that can function as hunter-killers.
However, the notion of a nuclear weapon in orbit? It seems completely superfluous. You could do a great deal of harm with little money if you fired an ICBM into space.

You're mistaken if you believe that the Americans lack a structure and a strategy for taking revenge when called upon. However, part of its deterrent effect is keeping it unclear and hidden.
This sounds just as alarming as the "missile gap" and "bomber gap" of six decades ago. We need ten if they only have one.
If the Administration can just disclose what it knows, it may be the best course of action.

After all, if the source is made public, it won't be difficult for the FSB to shut it down.
Furthermore, it needs to be used to create trouble even if it is a weapon in space. Should we reach that point where such incidents are occurring, we will have far more pressing concerns.
"Of all secrets, military secrets are the most transient." A cell phone in your pocket tomorrow, a secret today.
